In the 1960s, the ORTF broadcast a series staging the life of workers in a nuclear center in Provence.

Pierre Fournier, a sociologist specialist of work, showed film excerpts of this TV serial to workers of the center in order to better understand what it means to work in this high-risk industry.

May this research enable us to look beyond the public debate's abstract representations on this controversial topic, and to break the silence behind which people working in a nuclear plant sometimes hide ? The movie  shows the researcher at work and the science of making itself.
